Easter Sunday 5 April
Masses at 08:00 (Latin), 10:00, 12:00 and 18:00

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE TO MASS SCHEDULE
On Monday 6 April and Wednesday 15 April, Mass will be at the earlier time of 09:00.

Baptisms and Receptions
Congratulations to the thirteen adults who were baptised at the Easter Vigil. May the Lord continue to bless you in your journey of faith. Please pray also for the others who are to be received into the full communion of the Church or baptised during the Easter season.

Bible Study - Lectio Divina
Wednesday 8 April 18:30 to 19:30 in St John’s Room.

Young Adults Group, aged 18-30
Meets in the hall on Thursday 9 April from 18:30 to 21:00.

Youth Group, aged 12-17
Meets in the hall on Friday 10 April from 18:30 to 20:00.

Building works
Thanks to a generous donor, the damage to the wall in the south transept beside the organ will be repaired in the week commencing Monday 13 April.

Women’s Retreat Day
Saturday 18 April from 09:30 to 15:00 with the Dominican Sisters in Sway, Lymington. Contact: catholicmotherssoton@gmail.com. Babes in arms welcome - £10 suggested donation.

Holy Hour for a Culture of Life
On Sunday 19 April at 16:30 we will hold a Holy Hour, followed by Benediction to pray that assisted suicide will not become law. Confessions will be available.  

ProFamily Series of Talks
Thursday 16 April and 14 May from 19:00 to 20:00 in the Hall preceded by Holy Mass at 18:00. Please register here. An invitation to reflect on marriage, parenting and family life.

Theology on Tap
Martyrs, Music & Mission: Richard Dering (1580-1630) a Hampshire composer in Baroque Rome. 
On Friday 17 April at 18:30 in the cathedral. Prof. Maurice Whitehead MBE will give a lecture accompanied by live performance of a selection of Dering’s music.

Easter Egg Tombola
Raised £412.75 for the Cathedral150 Appeal. Thanks to Mary Harkin and team.

Pastoral Area – new dedication
The bishop has approved the proposal to have as the patron of our pastoral area Christ, the Light of the World. Our patronal feast day will be 2 February.

End of the Listed Places of Work Grant Scheme
As a listed place of worship, we used to be able to reclaim the VAT on the cost of repairs to the cathedral. This scheme has now finished which means that our repair costs have risen automatically by 20%.

ChurchSuite
Is the name of our new parishioner database. GDPR rules means that it is necessary to register again using the QR code on the flyer which you can find at the exits. You can also register by making an appointment in the parish office.
