Annual Mass Count
As required by the Bishops’ Conference, attendance will be recorded at all weekend Masses (including Saturday Vigils) over four successive Sundays: 20 & 27 September and      4 & 11 October.

Home Mission
Sunday 20 Sept is Home Mission Sunday, focusing on sharing the joy of knowing Jesus Christ. There will be a second collection to support the national evangelisation efforts of the Bishops’ Conference.

Our Lady of Walsingham Feast
Saturday 26 September 2026 at 11:00. Solemn High Mass & Procession at St Agatha’s. Presided by Dom Cuthbert Brogan (Abbot of Farnborough). Refreshments after.

Annual Civic Mass
Sunday 27 September at 10:00. We will welcome our local civic leaders, public servants, and community representatives to celebrate with us and invoke God’s blessings upon their work.

SVP Feast Day Refreshments
Sunday 27 September after 12:00 Mass in the Hall. Join us to celebrate the feast of St Vincent de Paul and learn about our local SVP conference. All welcome!

Oaklands School Open Evening
Join us on Monday 28 September from 16:30 to 19:30. Come explore our campus, meet our community, and discover what makes learning here special. Free on-site parking available.

School Governor
If you would like to become a governor at St John’s Primary School, please speak with Fr James or Fr Ryan. 

Nigeran Community
On Sunday 4 October at the 10:00 Mass, our Nigerian community will celebrate Independence Day with a special gift procession for the Cathedral 150 Appeal.

Tour of Cathedral and Sacristy
A free guided tour on Sunday 4 October from 13:10 to 13:40. Open to all parishioners and suitable for all families who wish to share the Cathedral’s heritage. Meet at the sanctuary steps after the 12:00 noon Mass.

St Patrick’s Chapel
Has a fresh coat of paint courtesy of a kind benefactor. We are now looking to replace the broken painted corbel. If you would like to fund this specific project, please speak to Fr James.

Youth Groups
We invite our children and youth to come together for faith, fun and friendship!

- SPARK (Years 3 to 6): Meets in the Cathedral Hall on the first Friday of the month from 16:00 to 17:30.
- FLAME (Years 7 and above): Meets in the Cathedral Hall on the first Friday of the month from 18:30 to 20:00.

Derek Fry RIP
Please pray for the repose of Derek, who was our organist for many years. We extend our condolences to his widow Ann and to all his family. May he rest in peace.
