Booking of Mass Intentions If you pay for Mass intentions using a contactless machine in the cathedral, please note that it is still necessary to book the Mass(es) via the parish office.

First Communion 2025-2026
Registration in open! The course is aimed only for children in Year 3 or Year 4.  Deadline is on 12 October. Forms available from the back of the church.

Christmas Day Lunch
Every year, the parish organises a Christmas Day lunch for those who may be otherwise alone. We need more drivers to collect guests from their homes. All drivers are required to do a DBS check. If you can help, please let the Parish Office know or Janet on 0790 7104 890.

Formation Day for Readers Will be held on Saturday 18 October 10:00- 14:00, at St Bede’s Church, Popley Way, Basingstoke, RG24 9DX. Bring your own lunch. If you are interested, please RSVP to liturgy@portsmouthdiocese.org.uk 

Parish Stewardship For several weeks, beginning on the weekend of 18/19 October, we will as a parish community explore how we can contribute our time, talent and treasure in the service of our parish mission. This will include a report on the parish accounts for the financial year ended 31 August 2025. 

Celebration of Talents
Saturday 22 November from 13:00- 18:00. Praise, worship, music, dance, songs and choirs for all ages. Monies raised will benefit the Cathedral building fund. Contact: Biju 0771 6087 407 or Icynth 0784 5356 013.

St Luke’s Day Mass The Portsmouth Catholic Medical Assosication are hosting a Mass for the feast of St Luke on Thursday 23 October at 18:30 in the chapel of QA Hospital. All are welcome to attend. 

RCIC Rite of Christian Initiation of Children. If your child is between 8 and 11 years of age and has not been baptised or received their First Holy Communion, please contact Fr Ryan.

Sacrament of Confirmation If your child is 12 or older and wishing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in 2027, he or she is invited to attend the Youth Group, which meets on the first Friday of each month at 18:30. 

CAR PARK: The ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) system is now live. It does not apply if you use the carpark to come to Sunday Masses (including the Saturday Vigil Mass). You just park as usual. If you use the carpark on another day to attend Mass or another service in the cathedral, and you do not wish to donate to the cathedral by paying for parking, you must obtain a one-use voucher from the sacristy or parish office. If you scan the voucher at the pay machine, you will be exempted from payment for the time of your visit, up to a maximum of three hours. Failure to pay or to scan the QR voucher will result in a £70 fine.
